Israel confirms airstrikes on targets in Iran

The Tasnim News Agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported from sources that Israel's attacks have targeted areas in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, and some other points in western Iran. The agency also stated that the sound of explosions has been heard in the vicinity of Karaj.


These developments come as the Islamic Republic, by firing missiles into Israeli territory, has escalated tensions between the two sides to a new phase.


Following this attack, the Israeli army spokesperson stated that Iran had committed a "grave mistake" by launching a new round of rockets. He emphasized that Israel will not allow the balance desired by Tehran to take shape and added that the country's forces are in a state of complete readiness to counter any potential subsequent actions by Iran.

The Israeli army has announced that the country's air force has targeted a number of sites in western and central regions of Iran. In a statement, the army said that further details of this operation will be released at a later time.
