Saudi official: At least 11 injured in Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia

General Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led military coalition, stated that the injured include seven Saudi citizens, one Yemeni citizen, two Egyptian citizens, and one Pakistani citizen. He accused the Houthis of targeting civilian areas and described this action as a violation of international humanitarian law.


This attack came after Saudi warnings about the potential for an increase in coordinated attacks by Yemen's Houthis and Iranian-backed Iraqi armed groups. Saudi officials have said that intelligence from several countries indicates the possibility of attacks on some civilian facilities, including energy infrastructure, ports, and airports.


Meanwhile, the escalation of tensions in the region and the continuation of conflicts between the United States, Israel, and Iran have made Saudi Arabia's security situation more complicated. The Houthis and Iran have not yet reacted to the accusations raised.

A Saudi military official has announced that in Thursday night's Houthi attack from Yemen on the south of the country, at least 11 civilians were injured. According to officials, a four-year-old child is also among the injured, who suffered burns as a result of this attack.
