New EU Chargé d'Affaires begins work in Afghanistan

In a statement expressing his pleasure at the start of his mission, Blome said that he is taking on this responsibility with the same enduring enthusiasm and with pride in representing the interests and values of the European Union in Afghanistan.


The European Union had introduced Mr. Blome as the interim Chargé d'Affaires of the delegation in Afghanistan on June 3 of this year.


Before him, Veronika Bošković Pohar had held the responsibility of Chargé d'Affaires for the European Union delegation in Kabul.



Nikola Blome, the newly appointed Chargé d'Affaires of the European Union delegation in Afghanistan, has announced the start of his mission in Kabul, stating that he has begun this responsibility with "enthusiasm."
