Trump: We are close to a deal with Iran, but some clauses need to be amended

According to an Axios report, Trump emphasized strengthening certain clauses related to Iran's nuclear program during a meeting in the White House Situation Room. A White House official also stated that the final agreement must safeguard Washington's red lines.


In an interview with Fox News, Trump remarked that the United States is close to reaching a "very good" agreement with Tehran, but warned that if negotiations do not yield a satisfactory outcome, other options, including military action, will remain on the table.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, has called for several changes to the provisions of the agreement currently under negotiation with the Islamic Republic and stated that he will only accept an agreement that prevents Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
