Three people died in a traffic accident in Laghman

According to the Taliban's traffic department in Laghman, the incident occurred on Saturday, June 6, on the route between the villages of Taru and Mukah in Alishing District.


Based on the information released, the incident took place after the vehicle veered off the road and overturned.


The Taliban have announced that the injured from this incident have been transferred to the hospital and are receiving treatment.


The Taliban's traffic director cited failure to adhere to traffic rules and the driver's carelessness as the cause of the incident.


Every year, hundreds of people across Afghanistan lose their lives or are injured due to traffic incidents. The lack of standard and asphalted roads, drivers' carelessness, failure to follow traffic rules, and speeding are cited as the most important factors contributing to these incidents.

The Taliban's traffic management in Laghman Province announced that following the overturning of a Flankoch vehicle in the province, at least three people were killed and two others were injured.
